The 21st edition of the world cup will take place in the summer of 2018 in Russia.

The Russians will play their first match at Luzhniki Stadium in Moscow on June 14, 5 p.m. against Saudi Arabia - the only team ranked lower than the hosts. The final will take place in Moscow at the Luzhniki Stadium on Sunday July 15. One month of soccer fever gets under way as the competition kicks off in Russia, even in Utrecht! With the Netherlands not having made the cut for the 2018's big trophy tournament, there are still fantastic evenings with a good atmosphere. Reigning champions Germany will meet Mexico, South Korea and Sweden in Group F as they look to defend their crown this summer:

Meet the Germans organizes 'Public Viewings' for all matches of the German team, in De Branding. De Branding is located on the Croeselaan 303, in walking distance (about 10min) from Utrecht Centraal station and Jaarbeurs. The German games are transmitted via a projector on a screen. Too many visitors? No problem, there are other display options are available. De Branding offers not only numerous drinks, but also delicious food, all at a good price. Free admission: There is no entrance fee, no minimum consumption and no purchase obligation.
